ABC UFO Special

eh peter jennings is doing a show on ufos tonight...i think he is a good news man with a level head, some sass, and a lot of fair minded reporting..i hope this show is good and he sticks to his usual reporting style.

I've considered many facts pertaining to the issue . Planet earth is on the outskirts of the milky way galaxy , we are so far out of the way that IMO even if there was extraterrestrial life this would be the last place in the universe they would look for life . The distance from our solar system to other likely ones is just too far and as far as man is concerned nothing can reach the speeds needed to travel those distances in a reasonable amount of time .

they never came to any hard conclusions, but one, there is something going on and there are few hard answers as to what.

there were many, not just a handful of nuts, but many who reported these sightings from commerical and military pilots [they mentioned thousands of reports that were NEVER given to anyone but bluebook [who buried them] they also had reports by military people guarding nuclear missle silo's and others who were top secret clearance types who were not given any information as to what was what....

from the program, I learned that blue book was started with only one real purpose.... stop the panic which was crippling the national communications network of the time by any means possible... since no explanations could be given with any certainty, they blamed it all on natural phenomenon even when such explanations were totally ludicrous.... the public only knew that the gov't said it was nothing to worry about and that was all that most people needed...and the panic subsided and it seemed obvious that if these things were from outerspace they were not threatening us so there really was nothing much to do other than keep blaming sightings on natural stuff....

perhaps some in the gov't really know what is going on, but I suspect they dont...but are unwilling to admit they have no clue.

as to secret military, I am sure that the black ops people dont tell the gov't everything either and so there is plausible denial

faith, faithlessness and judgmentalism

it's a shame that nobody ever looked good in responding to the question, "do you have faith in god?

", by answering "no".

what is faith?

seems to me faith is a gamble on an option which appears unreal and without evidence....

there are times when you may trust a friend and make such gambles... but it seems to me that the use of faith arose mainly in con artistry... a con artist must make the mark be convinc ed that he has something of value to sell or give in exchange when he does not.

The history of all religions show nothing but evidence for this in my view... not one of them can produce more than STORIES about their god's mighty acts and deeds, but all of them want something from you with the only promise that you will be rewarded somehow and mostly after you are dead.

as I was leaving the JWs it occurred to me that it did not seem right that a real god would be a god of con artistry instead of simple hoensty.... faith is rooted in excuse making for a complete lack of reality...

but then the bible god is called the shepherd, and what more fitting symbol of a con artist as shepherds are predators who fleece and slaughter their flocks while seeming better than wolves because they care of the sheep, but not with regard to the sheep, but to their own long term benefit.

my mother has been through a lot in her life, some bad before the truth, then following through during and after.

almost all of which she never shared with me until the past few months when i had to have my questions answered to get past the events i was stuck on.

i feel i am aging in years every month now, and was curious as to why.

The question has been asked on this board so many times, "why are you angry?" I am not angry any longer, I have a hate, not of people, but of what was taken from me. The group, collective, organization, whatever you want to call it is part of a system that strips the purest of things from a person. They make us unbelievers and apostates to ourselves because we reject the truth of our own perceptions. We are taught to ignore our own eyes, ears, hearts, and even the worst of all, our memories. How can someone believe or have confidence in themselves after that? Doubtless that is one of the tools of the organization, cripple a person emotionally to the point the depend on the "support" of the group...the same group that cripples them.

Here is my alternative view of reality for your consideration.

Freewill is an oxymoron myth invented by human ignorance and has nothing to do with how reality actually works?. Namely by some set of reactions among entities such as super strings or quarks, etc. the evolution of all things including mankind is either by cause effect interactions or pure randomness, what we call will and desire are just our labels for manifestations of these within us.

You can pick a point in reality and call it the start of your problems, but in reality it would be a falsehood as no starting point exists and the chain of events has no known origin or beginning and everything is simply proceeding as it must from the interactions as they happen.

Hatred cannot exist unless you actively compare your real memories with ideals which your mind has adopted as superior to reality in blind ignorance of reality? [Reality is always perfect until you compare it to what it ain?t]

If a past memory pains you, it is not the past event at fault, nor those involved in it, because whatever contribution they made was in the past and can have nothing to do with your current pain.... as all is left is data and it must be recognized that it is your current manipulation of that data which is the only source of pain? in other words, something you are doing to yourself in ignorance now is responsible. I trace this to an emotional energy difference which arises whenever there is a comparison made between any two perceptions, be they memory vs memory or memory vs current reality or either vs some ideal [fantasy memories]?. This emotional energy difference is a sort of static constant until on links them by a belief? a belief as to why these two events or memories or perceptions are being compared?. It is the nature of this belief which regulated the strength and type of emotion experienced now. It also means that changing the belief will change the emotional energy. But more fundamental, recognizing all ideals as falsehoods fabricated in ignorance will often be enough to take away the emotional energy potential all by itself.

It is the ideal fantasy which our own minds accept without much question which cause most of our unnecessary sufferings. Everyone and everything that actually happened in your real life and in your real experiences are exactly what reality manifested from its true nature and from no where else? to blame reality for being what it must be is insane -- though widespread and normal relatively speaking.

The facts are that about 99% of all sightings have been proven a hoax or natural phenomena

seems you did not pay attention to the show, the FACT is that this 99% number is pure BS... that project blue book was invented to stop people from panicking and make them believe this BS... they were lying from start to finish and according to the program when blue book was ended the one person who was for a REAL investigation was the ONLY scientist on staff, the one who had made up any BS explanation he could to hide the REAL facts.

reminds me of a book I am reading about Sigmund Freud....

its called WHY FREUD WAS WRONG

and goes into his messiah complex that lead him to believe he had made a radical discovery which

would lead to the psychological salvation of mankind where what he really did was to repackage some old concepts

and remove their divine origins... this lead to a cultish following where he played an active role in making sure his

materialistic church was pure... he chose those who would be its priests and excommunicated those who undermined

his dogmas... in the end he created a cult no different from any religion only devoid of any reference to a god.

have you ever met someone and for some unknown reason this person just rubs you the wrong way ,i don't know if it's a vibe they give off or what but something that makes you dislike about that person.

my son who is 21 started to date this girl and there is something about her i so much dislike and i can't help the way i feel.

i have 4 grown kids all have dated and brought there dates home and i was receptive to them all but i cannot to this girl.

when I came to see that everyone was part of me, I realized that I dont need to love or not love anyone

I treat everyone as a part of my wholeness.... now some parts of my body I do treat better than others (^_^) or at least give them more attention....
